Call them.

Haven't ran into a distributor yet that wouldn't include it in an order for a customer Bronko. Call either one and ask them if they carry it and if they don't, how much they would charge to put in an order for a pound or 2 on their next BP order.

I would call them but I'm in FL now and won't be back until May. Then I'll see if I can get it. I just asked the question to see if anyone knew. I can drive to Shyda's easy enough.

I'll call them in the morning for you and ask if and how much. Want me to call Shirks too?

No distributors for Swiss in PA at all actually. And I didn't think about this until just now and Shyda's is already closed. That's about retarded, closing at 5 on a Saturday? I don't remember them closing that early. Anywho, if you want to try it out, about the best deal online is with Powder Inc at $138.75 for a 5 pounder. Minimum you can order. Free shipping. https://powderinc.com/product/schuet...-black-powder/ I know a 5 pounder sounds like a lot, but I can guarantee you will love the stuff. And you shoot a good bit so it will go pretty quick. I use the 2F myself but I don't shoot anything bigger than a .50. You may want 3F for your .58's but I'll let someone who knows for sure guide you on that one.

Swiss 2F is almost 3F in Goex. They use a different system to measure the kernels.

Pete
I agree with you on the smaller grain size with Swiss.
What I would like to know is if Olde Eynsford powder granules are small like Swiss powder. I know you've purchased it in the past and my nearest Michigan supplier (50 miles away) sells Olde Eynsford FF, but not FFF.

Just curious! I use Goex FFF currently and it's a perfect size for my sidehammer.

It's been awhile since I tried OE and can't remember how it compared to regular Goex.

Jon has used it recently and should know.

Dixon's near Hamburg PA sells it.

Thanks Ed - I've been planning on taking a run down there anyway. It's been a while since I've been there. Neat place.
Thanks to you too SH54 for the research.
