Hey I need some help I have found an old bear recurve that is in good condition, but is a 1953 model hunter 60" and 50# would this be a good bow to start with? I already shoot compounds, but would love to start playing around with traditional equipment. Also if you know what this bow may be worth let me know.

as long as the bow is sound (ie no major cracks or delaminating) and you are not over bowed....it'd be a great bow to start out with.
