I made it last summer but wasn't confident enough in my shooting ability to hunt with it last year. It is an Osage longbow backed with bamboo with buffalo horn tip overlays. It pulls 52 lbs at 27" draw and is 62" long noc to noc. My 2013 aluminums are going 175 ft/sec. I am using 125 grain Snuffers and they all fly wonderfully. I am excited about hunting with it this year.
I am pretty much 100% at 15 yards and about 80% at 20 to 25 yards. I don't think I would try a shot beyond that yet. I have a stand in mind where the deer are funneled through a gully with high sides. The shooting lane is no more than 15 yards wide; should be perfect.

Talk like that makes me wish it was October 2nd already. Patience, hombre. That's one thing I have a terrible time with. I can't stand sitting still and not seeing anything. I've messed up a few could-have-been opportunities because I was rushin around.
