FAVORITE HUNTING BOW?
#21
Checkmate TD Hunter in Bubinga (I believe though it doesn't matter to me). With 60# limbs at my draw I am pulling approx 70#'s but would like to get lighter limbs for off season use.
This is a nice shooting bow and throws the arrows acurately and with good speed.
My hats are off to the people at Chek mate for making a good reasonable priced product.

I had one of those once, Epuller! Somebody gave it to me and it had a really horrible twist in the bottom limb. Never could get that twist out, so I never got to shoot it.[&o] But it was a pretty bow and looked real nice on the wall.

My favorite, for the past 3 years anyway, is the Shelby Mustang longbow, 84# with cedar arrows and Magnus heads. The bow shoots where you look and is very comfortable to shoot.

my favorite longbow is my dan quillan long bow it is 45 lbs at 28" draw and my recurve is a browning wasp 47 lbs at 28 inch draw. actually they are the only ones i own now but i am looking into other recurves and longbows. the nice thing about the dan quillan bow is that i got to finish it the way i wanted it so i went with cherry wood stain and low luster varnish. sure looks good to me and it shoots great

I've had lots of 'em. Most all of 'em were my favorites at the time. Whackin' and stackin'... how could I NOT believe that particular bow was my favorite. For now, I've come back full-circle and like my BIGHORN!
Geez, TJ... you need to lighten up a bit and I don't mean poundage, more like a few of them bows. Suppose ya don't have any in the "puny" draw wieghts, huh?

I don't care about CAPS, WAYNE PLACKER does it all the time.
I meant you need to lighten up the load of having so many Silvertips, can't shoot 'em all at once ya know. Since you can't possibly shoot any of them enough to give 'em their due, just send 'em my way and I'll know what to do with them! [8D]
