I have to agree with JB--with the bows I have shot, Yew has been the absolute smoothest (Black Walnut was pretty dang smooth too). I have only shot a few bows with Bamboo, none of them Adcocks, and they felt/performed average. Roy Hall makes a fine bow (Navajo), and Ric Anderson's Marriah feels really good in my hand (the few I have shot did anyway). I did sell my Navajo though....still have two Crusaders, and plan on getting a third one. Funny thing is, when I got the Navajo it was "THE BOW" for me. The only reason I tried a Crusader (bought my first one used) was because at some of bigger tournaments I shoot in the td Navajo (or any other 3-peice td longbow) was not legal for the regular longbow class--was classed with "modern longbow" or recurves. Keep shooting every bow you can get your hands on--you may find one you like better, or just confirm that the Adcock is "THE BOW" for you.

Sorry Stealthy, no help there. Can't say that I've ever shot a 3 pc T/D longbow. It's an interesting design, and I've seen some real beauts, but I just never had a real irresistable hankerin for one. Actually I've never owned a T/D longbow of any design. I guess I just always had my sights set on a different one (I wanted a little more).

Fine then Stealthy......if you don't want my fletch tape then I will donate it to the Postal Match. If you realize the grave mistake you have made and decide you want it......your gonna have to win it. No cheating.
