Just got my favorite back after it's 3rd re-finish in about 15 years. Money won't buy that bow (many have tried), but danged if I'm going to have a tool that I'm afraid to use because it might get scuffed!

The bowyer that made it refinishes mine. For other bows, there's a fellow that goes by "bowdoc" (I think) on some of the message boards that has a rep for doing a great re-finish, even restoring some old bows.

I've shot and owned a lot of bows but now I cant afford the higher cost bows......I'm a recovering bow-a-holic.lol.
I'm shooting a Samick Sage right now and I must say it shoots better than a lot of higher cost recurves I've had. But, I have plans one day to own another Wapiti takedown, I'd have to pick this one as my all-time favorite. The Quinn Stallion is a fine bow also...hard to beat if you like a metal riser.
