I think I am getting impatient Kent. I have put litterly 8 hours so far in just cutting up the core, floor tillering, makin the power lam, making the handle, and thinning the boo.

Believe it or not, the power lam was one of my toughest pieces. I got it mated well. But I made 3 of them. I ended up making out of hickory I had.

I think I just need to do a quick mockup with tubes and see where there are any gaps and just take some time to use a sraper/sand paper to get just right. Probably time well spent.

I just want to get this thing glued up before next year!!!!![:@]

Believe it or not, it gets easier. As for power lams, they can be a pain in the butt. You have the right idea, take your time. I will not even touch a bow, if im irritable, or in a mood. I have destroyed more bows by getting impatient or mad. A painful lesson learned

Well, Kent, here's one thing I learned. One, don't thin the boo to a knife edge until you cut out its profile to the core. I found out 1/16" boo and bandsaws causes splits and splinters on the boo.
