I just got back from shooting my new crusader tonight. First 6 arrows out of the bow all inside of a 5" circle at 20 yards. Had 3 or 4 guys drooling over it in no time. THe owner of the shop I was shooting at shot it a few times and decided he needed to order himself one too. I am very impressed with it. It is 5fps faster with the same arrow as my 62" T/D crusader, and the T/D is 3lbs heavier draw. Thanks Chad for setting me up with two such nice bows. Your a better man than I am, I don' t think I would have been able to send a bow that pretty down the road as you did, I woudl have kept it for myself. I' m glad you didn' t shoot it because I' m sure you would have kept it if you had. Everyone that shot it tonight couldn' t seem to miss. Great shooting bow and better yet fabulous looking bow. Thanks again Chad.

Uh-oh, Josh, you' re in trouble now. You better keep that bow strung up with a quiver full of sharp broadheads beside your bed. And set up a surveilance system designed to go off when it detects a TroynOh. ' Cause the way he' s been talkin about the mail guy you' re not very safe.
Just kidding, but it' ll probably make him itch for his even more. Glad you' re enjoying it and it' s shooting nicely. But it' s faster and lighter weight than your takedown? Go figure. Brandan-he who doesn' t have to look over his shoulder for TroynOh [&:]

By all logic is shouldn' t be faster than my T/D. My T/D is 2" shorter, and 3lbs heavier in draw wieght and my 1pc is consistantly 5-6fps faster with same arrow as the T/D. I think the T/D might be a tad smoother drawing though. You just can' t beat these crusader longbows.

Now, Josh, take a few pictures of it to make Troy itch even more. lol Troy I sure hope you get your' s before I get mine, I don' t want to have to rescue the mail guy from a ravening archer.
Mine isn' t supposed to be done ' till June though so I think I' m in the clear.Brandan

I am pretty sure I know why the one-piece is faster than the td--it has yew limbs, the td has osage limbs. Yew, in my opinion anyway, is as good as it gets for limbs. I' d like to hear how it compares when you get to the shop again.
You don' t know how hard it was to part with that one--the folks at the post office couldn' t understand why I was crying and they had to pry the tube from my hands![:' (]

Guess it' s a good thing I didn' t shoot it! I do plan on getting one like that for myself, or one with a Macassar ebony riser and limb veneer--or both!
