I saw two fawns out today while putting a couple cameras out. The first one we saw cross the road about half a mile ahead before we got there.....so we drove up and could not see where they went. We then backed up about 50 feet and I saw the mama doe cross the road with the REALLY small fawn behind her.
Then when I stopped to remove a camera from a certain location and was all but quiet for about 20 minutes, when we took off in the truck a fawn jumped out of the grass about 5 feet in front of us. It stayed bedded down the whole time we were parked.
