arrow selection
i have a bear grizzly from the 70's. i use to shoot it all the time and use to do a little hunting with it. recently i fell into the grind that we call adult hood and found that my hunting time has dwindled. so...i have been using my compound only for the last five years.
i am now looking for a good arrow combo. the bow is around 45# and i am trying to decide if i should go aluminum or carbon. also, what type of fletch should i get feathers or vanes?

RE: arrow selection
I like the aluminum probably 2016 or maybe a 2018 with a little extra length and heavy broadhead to get the spine right. I try to use the arrow that weights the most by leaving it a little long and adding to the end.
good luck what ever you go with.

2016 will work for you if you recurve has alot of zip. Might have to go to 1916. Or use more than 125gr heads with the 2016. Also any .500" shaft should work for you.
