Well, I know I am keeping it as a crutch. Especially for rut. Just can't bring myself to get rid of it. If I could get the idea out of my head, where I am always comparing compound shots to trad shots, I wouldn't mind to hunt with it.

We all put so much effort and time into our trad bows, and I know I am looking for something. A feeling of accomplishment from building the bow to killing with it, and with a good ethical shot. I know I spend at least 3 hours a week shooting, and another 4-5 hours a week on my selfbows, and building arrows.

Its an awsome feeling. The first thing I ever shot with a bow I built was a hog, and that hog still ranks as one of the most exciting hunt ive ever had. Ive taken deer and other animals with my own bows, but the first is always the most special.
