when I go to that land north of Abilene to hang stands I'll be taking it with me and try to kill a pig with it. I think I'll start a bucket of soured corn tonight. Should be good and ripe in 3 weeks!

Wow guys, it looks so easy. Must not take any skill to build those laminated bows.

I messed a nice yew stave this weekend. I can't get anything right.[]

I tell ya BC when I was there Friday Russ was cutting the limbs slowly, VERY SLOWLY! I don't think I'd have the patience.

It's gonna be the plywoodriser bowThe one with 13 verticallams in the riser, I am hoping it turns out as good as Greg's did.

You need to put down the self bows and make a glass lam. There is almost no tillering at all.All the tillering is already done in the laminations. I think the success would do you good.

My wifes boss own 400 acres in Nugent. I did some electrical work for him in trade for permission to hunt. I'm going out on the 22nd-24th to hang stands and hopefully get the new bow broken in with some pig blood. How close are you?
