It's all about MARKETING and SALES! Yeah, I too have to mail order what I want these days. Local archery shops don't even CARRY feathers any longer, rug rests, swaged Easton GameGetters!

Whats THAT say about today's current MARKET TREND?
Scoobiedoo,

My local archery dealer, the Archery Shop, carries exclusively feathers and special orders vanes to install on arrows. He orders bare shafts and he fletches them and cuts them to length. He sells 95% Gold Tip carbon arrows, with the remaining 5% being a mix of other brands of carbon arrows, wood arrows and aluminum arrows. The vast majority of bows he sells is compounds. He does occasionally sell a trad bow by special order. After I bought my first Crow Creek Black Feather longbow and sold it to him when I bought my second Black Feather, he sold eight Black Feathers to various people who came into the shop and saw his hanging on the wall. After they shot it, they wanted one, too. He can get anything I want/need, there is a difference , in the traditional realm within 4 days.
