Default 3-D Tournaments

Got several big ones coming up here in the Southeast. The ASTB (AL) is putting on the Children's Hospital Benefit toward the end of this month, then the TN Classic at Twin Oaks the first weekend in May, the Jerry Pierce Memorial at the end of May here in MS, the Howard Hill in June, and I think the "Real Thing" in LA is in June.

I'm hoping to make all of these--the LA shoot is kinda up in the air right now, but looks good for the rest.

I'll see you at the TN Classic in a few weeks. I've alwaysheard good things aboutthe Jerry Pierce Memorial shoot, but have never found the time to get down there. Is that a good one, Chad?

I'll be at the Jerry Pierce shoot... The Lofton Classic and probably the Real Thing. Then I have all the MS Bowhunter shoots and several local ones....

The JPM is a really good shoot--not as big as Twin Oaks, but a great course and good folks running it. It usually has some of the most challenging short shots you'll find. We're also borrowing Lost Tribe's playing card novelty for it.

DC,anychance you'll make it to Clarkesville instead of Grenada? I was going to the Lofton several years ago, back when it was big, and even then it wasn't as good at the TN Classic. The ASTB shoots and the Howard Hill at Tannehill State Park are also really good ones.

Chad,

I wish I could go to all of them, but as secretary of the MBA, I have to be at 5 of those shoots, so it really cuts my travel down. Plus with gas so high it really isn't worth it anymore! I just try to make the local one's and I will only go to the Real Thing if we are visiting my inlaws on the coast.

On a side note, if those knuckle heads at the Lofton would change the date, it would be big again. They just can't compete with the TN shoot and we are losing a lot of guys from N. MS and the area.

I personally think we should support our in state shoots.

I agree, I wish the Lofton and the TN Classic weren't on the same weekend. I would like to attend both but I'm gonna have to end up choosing one over the other.
