Default Quick Question - Port Orford Cedar Shafts

I'm not ready for wood arrows yet, but the shop that's been setting me up has one dozen sealed, spined and straightened Port Orford Cedar shafts for $45.00. It's the last dozen he has. They're 29" long and 45/55# shafts. Sounds like a good deal. What do you think? Should I grab them for the future?

Nah...those PO cedars aren't any good, and I wouldn't get them.

BTW, where did you say that shop was. [8D]

It depends. One, they will be a little weak spined, (not much) for your setup. And you need to inspect and make sure they are staight grained. I can get dozen POC for 55 dollars on sale on occassion. Not the ideal arrow for your bow.
