Dick,

You lost me on this one. I shot that 3D and can't remember any animal with an obstructed kill zone, unless it was from the compound stakes. From the trad stakes, all of the kills were not only visible, but shootable.

The only animal that I remember having a good chance at killing a tree was the "thread the needle" shot on the 30 yard elk...and I killed the tree. That target didn't even have a 12 ring as far as I can remember.

Which target was this, and from what stake was the kill zone blocked?

Dick,

2 ideas, steel bear/deer with only the hear/lungs cut out, its all or nothing for 30 targets <img src=icon_smile_cool.gif border=0 align=middle>

That or put up a steel disc on the 10/12 ring and see how many really cheat. Boy that would be mean hehe

the target with the obstructed kill zone is a good idea. you only need to watch that one. have it close enough to the clubhouse to see with binoculars. ask the cheater (nicely) to not come back.

Your life is made of time, not money.

We don't bother keeping score at our shoots anymore. What I keep score is the amount of arrows I did'nt lose. Go out with three and return with three I'm doing great.

Cheating ! It go's on in all levels of competion ! Never could understand it. All cheaters will someday have to answer for the things they have done, someone besides them know they did it !

Here's the thing, be sure you know that someone has /is cheating before you accuse them of it. If you think they are cheatin' ask them if your can shoot with them the next time. Here's what will happen, 1. They will make up an excuse and tell ya no . ( At this time you turn the other cheek and walk away.) 2. You will find out the answer to your question, (has he been cheatin'?). When you shoot together they will either shoot very poorly or give you a shooting lesson ! Either way you will get your answer ! If he shoots poorly he more than likely has learned his lesson and you will not be botherd by him again.

This is the way I handle cheaters .
