Bitzenberger and JoJan are 2 of the best jigs.I like the JoJan-been using mine for over 10yrs now trouble free.Wherever you buy your shafts, they should cut them to length for free(most shops around me do this).I cut my own with a small cut-off saw.As for adhesives,I use Fletch-tite platinum most of the time.
You won't save alot of money at first being that you'll be laying out some cash to get started but the biggest advantage is you don't have to waste time or gas going to the bow guy to repair damaged fletches or build new arrows all the time

you can get by with just a fletching jig, fletching cement and fletching if all you want to do is fletch your own shafts. if you want to cut them to length a saw, high speed for carbon ferrel tight for aluminum or an epoxy for carbon to put your inserts in and that about does it. i use a jo-jan mono-fletch and love it. it puts a nice helicle on my shafts and they fly like darts.
