Default New bow delivered today.

Last week I ordered a new Bear supermag, rh, 50# @28". Also some beaver ball silencers.

Big brown truck stopped buy while I was at lunch. Opened the box (which was still wet and obviously re-taped on one end). Pulled out the bow. No string, no silencers, and the bow is a kodiak mag, LH, 55# @28".

Cabelas is sending the correct stuff out right away, and then I'll send the Kmag back.

To bad I'm not a lefty, it's pretty fricking sweet. I have my fingers crossed that the grip/shelf on the super mag is just like it. Anyone know?

Good ol' Cabelas. They're pretty good at sending out the wrong stuff. About 20 years ago, I ordered a 7 foot, 6 wt fly rod and reel. Got it in and it was an 8', 9 wt saltwater rod and reel. Still got it. It does a great job with big ol' deer hair bass poppers. Of course, I still had to order what I wanted in the first place, but fly rods are like bows. Can't have too many.

Give 'em enough chances and they'll eventually get it right. [8D]

The shelves should be very close to the same.

I've had nothing but good luck with them, well, until today

That is very good to hear. I think I stand a good chance at being in love with the bow... this one feel so good I'm contemplating getting a string and seeing how I could shoot left handed
