Land onwner wants me to kill any coyote's I see and the mountain lion on property if I see. coyotes are not harmful to deer and actually keep herd strong since only weak or injured get taken. The lion is another story. On the other hand he does have goats roaming free when hunting season is closed. Almost had opportunity this morning to take a coyote.

I've had packs of them get bold and come in trying to harvest one of my house cats in broad daylight before. I pulled out the dbl barrel 12 ga. and took one with dbl 00 buck shot right off the road in front of my house while he was pacing nback and forth eyeballing the cats.....Yup.....I kill one every chance i get....make cool looking hats too....Kirk

Oh I am gonna killem just didnt see him again this morning LOL. would of killed him yesterday but he was 40 plus yards out and then he changed direction and went around a cluster of cedar trees. I got ready but he never came out of other side. So I let him be. Bought a call and gonna set a decoy out and draw em in LOL.

We used to have a $50 dollar bounty on them here, and in some counties there still may be one....I dont worry about a clean shot with those critters, i let the arrows fly and hope for the best. I've had em jump a sting on an exceptionally fast bow at 10 yards....those buggers are like lightning! i like it best when they are trotting broadside at a steady pace and unaware of you. They don't seem to drop to the ground all the way while they are moving. If you do get a standing shot....I would aim right below where you want that arrow to hit about 6". They drop to the ground as soon as they hear the string. kind of like shooting at a deer that has it's tail up.

They wait and feed on the fawns, if they are lucky enough to run into one. The also kill for fun. They are a nuiscance and should be killed in my opinion.
LOL!
