Default number of nocks served

Hey Guys. When shooting three fingers under do you serve on two nocks. I've been using one but I am getting suspicious that some shots are thrown off possibly by inconsistant pressure against the arrow nock. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

I do top and bottom. I have been tying on knots. The brass nocks seem to slow it down and tear up my glove.

Try it and see. I have two nock points tied on my longbow, one brass one on my selfbow. I shoot split finger, and can't tell any difference so far.

As a side note, I have heard several folks talk about brass nocksets tearing up their glove. I don't recall that ever happening to me--my guess is your nocking pliers aren't doing the job right. 'Course there's nothing wrong with a tied on nock, except it can be harder to adjust.

I find them easier to adjust. I will put them on then when they have to be moved up or down you just twist them on the string. They will move up the serving or down the serving, depends on which way you twist them. I also think they are more aacurate at setting then the brass ones.
