RE: Crow Creek Black Feather LB
The Crow Creek is the best shooting longbow I've ever owned. The added weight of the 3 piece riser contributes to its great stability. It is quiet as a church mouse and I haven't even put silencing material on the string yet.
The bow is 62", 48#@28" and the woods, as if they need to be explained, are Bocote and Cocobolo in the riser, Bamboo cores with Bocote veneers on the limbs, Bocote wedges and Cocobolo accents on the limb bolt pads and limb tips along with black Micarta/phenolic. I really like the finish Elmer Patton puts on his bows. It is unlike any finish I've seen on any of the other bows I've owned.
