New To Me Crow Creek Black Feather
Below are some pics of a new to me Crow Creek Black Feather longbow. It is 62" and 51#@28". The riser is Cocobolo with what appears to be a Birdseye Maple stripe and the limbs are Actionboo cores with Curly Maple veneers.

Elmer makes a great bow! I had a bocote Black Feather that was just an incredible shooter and gorgeous to look at--really smoked an arrow off it.I had it for only a month and traded it because I had a neck injury and couldn't handle the weight--would definitely buy another.
btw--very nice looking bow!

Jim/Brett/Steve,
Thanks! Elmer builds a nice looking bow and he builds a great shooting bow to boot. This is my third one. I sold my first one to the owner of the Archery Shop where I go to shoot on the indoor range on Saturdays. I also sold him my first Dale Stahl T/D recurve. I've tried to get that one back, but he won't well it to me!

Are you talking about a Bocote riser and Bocote veneers bow that I traded a Border Black Douglas to get? If so, I wish I still had it, too!! Or was it the Zebrawood riser with Zebrawood veneers?
