Thanks for the comments guys.
Jim, I know the guy that bought that bow. He usually keeps them for a month or two and flips them. If he goes to sell it he said he'd let me know first. Let me know if you want me to hook you up with him if he decides to sell it. It was a Schulz Natural 51#'s at 28".
There was a Schulz Natural on tradgang that I spent a little bit too much timethinking aboutbefore it it got sold-I just love shooting those straight-limbed bows

That was the one,Bob. Do you know anything about the natural's? I know he didn't use glass so are they susceptible to weather like a selfbow? Is string follow an issue with them?
BTW,that's a great signature

I honestly don't know much about that model. But I know who to ask. David Miller at Miller Longbow is the guy. Sorry, I couldn't help more. Or maybe Art P could pipe in.
Just saw that quote yesterday...My wife and I both laughed out loud.

I don't know anything specific about the Natural but just going on general stuff...
How susceptable to weather the bow would be would depend entirely on how well thebowis sealed. I really don't think I'd take a non-glass bow out in wet weather, just in case.
String follow depends a lot on how well the bow is tillered and how well it's designed for the shooter's draw length. A bow that's designed for a shooter with a 26" draw will show string follow if someone with a 30" draw shoots it. Might even break.
It'd be a good idea to try and get hold of Schulz directly and ask him specifics about it. Heck, I don't even know if he's still alive. [:-]

I'm not sure if John is still living.I heard his son's were building bows-geez,it might've been Bob that I heard that from,I'm not sure anymore(it's lousy getting old).Beautiful bows nonetheless, though. Thanks Arthur

Jim,John's son Steve is setting up shop and is going to start again. He's a bit hard to get a hold of though. Dave Miller was a student (building bows and shooting) of John's. He is still building non-glass Schulzdesigned bamboo longbows.
