Trail cam pics. 2 more pics added.
I went out and bought another new Leaf River since I had to send the one I just got 3 days
ago for service. I am kind of disappointed in some of the pics. I left it out for the first time
overnight last night. 12 pictures did not come out. Perhaps it was frost on the camera lens cover?
What do you think?
Anyhow there are still some small bucks carrying some anter so I wanted to get some pics so I can
compare them to next year.
It took 31 pictures overnight.
I dumped 2 1/2 gallons of corn.
BTW I Set the date wrong a year and a day short like a moron
First pic taken after my first "test" pic.
This was the last pic taken before it whited out.
Here is the white out
After the white out I have 2 more pics here is the first one after the white out.
Here are 2 more from last night. I passed on this buck 3 times this fall.
It is the same buck as one of them pictured above.
I put him at 124 gross score guesstimating.

RE: Cam pics First set with my new Leaf River
Wow you got more buck pics in your first night than I have got in the last 2 months. I had plenty of buck pics in November but since then nothing. Is that a clearing in the woods where the corn is? The ground looks wierd, no grass or leaves, is it a field?
I get a few "white out" pics but not many. It could be frost but I think it may also be condensation inside the lens. Every once in a while I see moisture inside the lens when I check the cam, don't know what to do to help with that. To help with water droplets on the outside of the lens I put some Rain-X on the lens but can't really tell a difference in the quality of the pics since I did it.
That 1 1/2 year old buck in the top pic looks very healthy and that 2 1/2 is going to be nice next fall. I can't wait to see the pics you get this summer/fall!

hey buckey i got a kleaf river and i love it pictures are very clear. I never get the white out effect but then again i have not had mine in since its been cold. The blurriness u r getting i would have to say is the film. What speed film are u using? I use 800 and never no problems with them being clear. Very nice pics. though if i had a scanner i would show u some good pa. buck.

my LR frosted up on the inside of the lens you got to make sure the gasket on the top of the door is snaped tight and hold the door shut tight when snaping the clips shut. this stop mine from fogging up hope this helps.
