What kind of arrow is this?
A couple years ago, i won an arrow in a traditional archery contest.
Im thinkin that it might be a flu-flu but not really sure.
It is 31 1/4" long
It has 4 feathers. each of the feathers are 3 3/4" long and 3/4" high at their highest point except for one feather that is significantly larger than the others. It measures 1" high at its highest point.
it is also a very nicely built arrow that is glossed and has a fairly heavy tip at the end. the tip is kind of like a field tip except more blunt. Its still poined but you can push your finger down onto it. Also, the point does not screw in, it is glued directly to the shaft.
sorry for not having any pix. i cant get my digital camera to work.
never buy a polaroid lol

RE: What kind of arrow is this?
thanks guys.
ive seen flu-flu arrows, but they have always looked like an arrow with a big pipe cleaner on the back. iv also heard that big feathers will have the same affect as the "pipe cleaner"
LBR, the contest wasnt really such a big deal. it was basically a bunch of people who had never shot any kind of traditional bow before (including me at the time). i got lucky and nailed the baloon at 15 or 20 yards.
it wasnt a seriouse contest so there wasnt really a "prize" if you won. the instructor that was there was awsome and gave me one of his arrows as a kind of "congrats."I had a blast just shootin a longbow that day and thats the reason i got into traditional bow hunting.
thanks again
