Default Super Shrew

Well, Ron LaClair just e-mailed me that they were starting on my new Super shrew. 60" 55@29" Seems awfully short for a "Longbow" I should know in 2/3 weeks....
It's only been 13 months!

60" might be all right, John. After all, my kid's lb is only 48"

While I probley will never own one I have shot the Samurai Super Shrew on several occasions and the Raco (I think thats what it is called)which is made by the same guy and I loved the way it handled. But that is why I bought my HH Wesley Special also.

John,

I drew a 58" Super Shrew Limited Edition at Kalamazoo all the way to 31" (my draw with a LB), and it was smooooooooooth.

Yeah, I shot a Griffin (John's version) at Cloverdale. It was indeed smooth drawing. "How day do dat?"
I'll report when I get it.

Well, it came today. Nice little bow. No trouble at all with finger pinch at 29" draw. Exceptionally quiet? That was a surprise.
They do like STIFF arrows. Mine is 56@29" and likes 70 spine, 30 1/4"
Mike(Shrewshooter) is there any real advantage to the 6 strand 450+ string?

They do take stiff arrows. I have a McCullough Griffin--60" 59@29. I shoot a 30" bop and it needs 75-80 lbs. My only other bow[I am bow-poor, don't you think?], a 55@28 Martin Hunter which I draw to 29.5 shoots the same spine.
