LOL, very true about the government chad. Thanks for the info on Vancouver Island. I have heard the same thing. Just a little pricey from what I have been told.

Well ya might have mentioned that to the bears living up-Island. Was out last weekend (central Van. Island) but not much was stirring yet, even at sea level. I think the guys hunting the south part of the Island where seeing bears though- maybe next weekend.

Plans for later this year? Fallow & blacktail locally, and depending on what draws fall out of the sky either the yearly moose trip or we might try the "any elk" early bow season in the Kootenays (which would mean I'll have to take a whitetail tag, mulie tag and maybe a sheep tag too).

Shoot Rich--I think you were the one that told me that tidbit? Talked to Marc about bear hunting a few days ago--blasted gov't there isn't acting right at all! Still, I'm going to make it to the NALS eventually. Looking forward to meeting you, Marc, and a few others up that way!
