best glue for carbon shafts
I finally got my gold tip hunter arrows fletched and took them to the range yesterday. I lost three nocks and inserts. Can anyone tell me the best glue for these because fletch-tite platnium just ain't workin.

I don't know about the nocks. Haven't shot GoldTips since they did away with the nocks with the expander screw in 'em. For inserts though, I had my best results with 24-hour epoxy or JB Weld. Super glues and stuff like that only work for a short while before the inserts pull out.

I have found that loc tite gel super glue does a great job on the flecthing and inserts. It will work on carbon and aluminum as well. I have a set that I flecthed last year and they are still holding. The gel makes it nice to get it right where you need it and doesn't make a mess. I don't think that you could go wrong giving it a try.
