Does anybody hunt with Mongolian style bow?

I saw bunch of traditional shooters at the range last week.
Few of them were shooting Mongolian type of recurve.
Actually they were made in Hungary.
I talk to one fellow, who was shooting 45lbs with pretty heavy wooden arrows and they were as fast as 50-55lbs recurves.
He said that it was one of the smoothest bows he ever shot.

I'm gonna get more details and figure out the K/E, next time I see him, because it would be cool hunting bow. I think

I've never shot one, but I love how they look. The Saluki scythian and Ibex catch my eye every time I see one, and I'd love to shoot one someday. Hopefully soon
