Yes a soft deer leather glove is the ticket.

I don't like those thick gloves I like to feel the string and knock.

Practiced some yesterday with the string in the first joint, seemed alot easier to draw and not worry about misfiring. Gotta order some arrows, the ones that came with the bow are to weak ( got the bow off ebay) 30" 2114's, shooting 50# @30" currently. I havent searched the net yet, do you know where i could get a soft deerskin glove?

not sure if i need a different rest, have a goldenkey superstar on the bow right now. Do you need a cushion plunger to get the best fight possible?

The no-gloves add about 40grs of weight to your string at the most critical point which will reduce arrow speed significantly.

While it seems counter-intuitive, a deep hook on the string will indeedresult in a quicker and cleaner release than shooting off the fingertips. Holding on the fingertips causes tension in the flexor tendons in the back of your hand, whereas a deep hook allows those tendons to relax, allowing for a smoother release.

Joe Stark at Lone Wolf has all sorts of different gloves. I used to think all I could shoot was a soft, thin glove like the Damascus, but I got tired of replacing them about the time it was broken in good--kept wearing them out. A friend talked me into trying an Alaska Bowhunting Supply Superglove. At first, I hated it--the tips have cordovan leather are are stiff as a board when it's new. I made myself shoot it until it was broken in, and now that's all I use. I recently had to throw one away--it was falling apart, but the leather on the fingers was as good as ever. I can usually get at least 2 years out of one glove--that's about 4 Damascus gloves worth.

guess i should have waited for a reply to the post, already ordered the damascus, then of course i saw the super glove on the cabelas site. What about the superstar arrow rest, good for fingers or no? I put the hunter supreme from GKF on last night, but i still have to wait on the arrows
