Default HUnter Safety System ??

I am looking to possibly purchase one but do not know what the major difference is with HSS and the harness that come with treestands. Is it worth the 129.99? And if so what is the difference between the 129.99 and the 74.99 treestalker version? If anyone has any insight on this I would appreciate it.

I purchased the HSS vest for $129 last year and really, really like it's features. Plenty of storage pockets. Mesh fabric for the warmer hunts. Buckles are simple and quiet. No complaints.

I also purchased the $75 vest for my son. Same safety features, but a little less storage and not the mesh fabric! He doesn't carry as much crap as I do, so he didn't have a need for the additonal pocket storage that I do.

I consider both vests to be right up there with some of the better purchases I made last year!

The HSS is way more comfortable and easier to use, I like the climbing belt that you can add to it...Works great when hanging stands...I don't know the difference between the two HSS vests, hell I don't even know which one she bought me...They are good harness's though..

I'm getting ready to buy a HSS as well. The full body harnesses that come with stands these days are an absolute pain in the ass to put on...especially when it's dark!!

I have the HSS system with the life line for my lock-on setups. It works great. There is a video on my site that shows me using the lifeline and the proseries vest ( www.ArcherRange.comclick reviews tabethen the channel 3 review).
It was very easy to use and when I threw the rangefinder out of the tree the first time I hit the limb over my head with my arm. It knocked me off balance and the lifeline kept me in the stand.
Don't know anything about the other vest you mentioned, but no complaints at all on the HSS.

The HSS has changed my hunting in stands 110%. The thing is so easy to get on I dont even think twice about putting it on.
