I've had my camera set up and a corn pile for the past 2 weeks and it has taken some good pics, but alot of the pics are completely white and others like this one are almost completely white. Some are day pics and others are night pics. The camera is facing north so I don't think it is the sun. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong.

I have had some pics like that as well. Probably around 2 dozen of them.
It was really cold when mine took white pics like that. Lows in the single digits.
I think I had a build up of frost on the lense cover because all the pics that mine took like that were in low light conditions. After the sun came up it took good pictures again.

Just some negatives that go along with the digital cameras. My Cuddeback shoots some srange pics from time to time. I personally think it has something to do with sitting dormant for long periods of time and then BAM!, flashing a pic, maybe all the little chips and brains don't have time to "wake up". Then again, I'm a freaking accountant, what do I know about electronics!

As I am not sure how the camera is setup inside the box, one guess of mine would be to check and make sure the flash is sealed off. If it isn't the flash could be bouncing around inside the box.

Ok I agree with this being the most possible problem.. Another thing to check is the battries.. I recomend that you be using Lithium batteries as they do not freeze as easily as the rest. I think they are rated to work or not freeze until -35* without windchill.. I work on IC's alot and deal with electronic's and I think that IL_BOW_MAN is on the right track.

It's been below freezing a couple of the nights it was out, but onlyl in the 20's. My next set of batteries I'll try the lithium. The camera is mounted inside the outer door on the Leaf River. It is all contained and I can't see if the flash is bleeding out. We've been having some warmer days lately so I'll see how the next pics turn out.
