I have them on my hunting arrows and will probably put them on all arrows now. I want the extra weight personally but that is just me. As far as arrows flying any different..Gosh, I really haven't noticed.. Maybe way out it would change a little but 8 grains on 400 grain arrow is pretty minimal at 20 yards. I have noticed ZERO change in impact, I miss equally bad with them on or without [:-]

That, and make your arrows special looking so when people look at the pile of shattered arrows at the range (We have logs and stuff in front of 3-d targets to simulate hunting) people will know which one is yours...Or, if you are foolish enough to shoot at the bionic bird from 20 yards and smash your arrow...

I personally like to use orange wrap with orange feathers and an orange nock. It is the halloween arrow but man, it shows up well for my eyes. The whites are nice too and I might go that route when I get new arrows for the Black Eagle as I want to go real heavy on the arrows for that..Well, real heavy for me.

wraps are ok if you dont mind the extra weight...but i use all white feathers...you can see the arrow well in a hit deer and on a pass thru you can see blood on the feathers

I feel they are very very important! I always see where my arrow hits the deer with the white wraps, which as you know can make all the difference in the world....

Retune? Any change you make to your setup should make you check your tune. Sometimes the simplest things will make a big difference and other times not, but checking it afterwards is a good idea.

I seriously doubt adding 8 grains to an arrow is going to make a huge difference, if any at all. In theory, you'll lose about 2 fps with the added weight.

I disagree with the retuning your setup issue. I use pa hardwoods wraps and have not had to do anything to my sights. My only complaint is they can be a little difficult to get off the shaft. With that said, I was told using a hair dryer will help get the wrap off the shaft.
