a #52 recurve shooting wood arrows.
Can I expect pass thoughs on hogs & deer out to 20-30 yards with the 100 grain snuffer?
I really like the classic look of the snuffer and the extra damage it will do but would I be better off just shooting
a Magnus 2 blade?
I did a search on numerous sites and didn't really find the answers I was looking for.
TIA

I'd lean more toward the 2-blade Magnus II, or one with the bleeder blades, at 52#, especially for hogs. I don't really care for Snuffers because I never was able to sharpen them like I wanted.
Have you checked the traditional forum on this site? Should be some Snuffer shooters on there that could give you some better info on them than I can.

Both will do the job, but I have found the Magnus two blade heads to be stronger, and penetrate better than the snuffers. You may want to email Magnus directly, I know they will be glad to answer your questions, and they have a lot of experience with all their differnt heads.
