Thanks for taking the time to E-mail.

Looks like I'll be patiently waiting for a phone call/e-mail from Todd.

I was told he was "out" earlier, so I left a second message with him.

i think in their warranty it says something about replacing it with what you bought, except they, bowtech, have the right to upgrade your product if they need to, but its not your right to have your purchase upgraded through the warranty. that is fair, no 2 ways around it, think about the abuse that could be created by people purposely breaking stuff because they want to try different limb poundages, etc. but there is nothing fair about your heart falling down in your britches when you notice your limb cracked or delaminated. you want someone to pay for it, i know i did. i don't like people playing with my emotions, and broken limbs mess with my emotions. but my emotions aren't covered under warranty. all i can say is i feel your pain brother. you'll feel better when you get your bow back.

If that's the way it is, so be it, I can deal.

And a big AMEN to that last sentance. I've got a black buck hunt to go on in February (if the moon aligns with the stars and all that) and would love to be sporting a tuned in Patriot, but if need be my old standby Mathews Z-light was slinging them true last week!

Yeehaw!!

Just read a short and sweet e-mail sent out from Todd at BT yesterday evening stating my limbs are to be sent out today to my shop at "N/C".
I've got my fingers crossed that N/C stands for No Charge. Can't imagine it meaning anything else[8D]
The e-mail didn't go into any detail or policy but simply stated what I wanted to read.

Now it's time to call the bowshop and make sure we're all on the same page.

n/c definately means no charge. may consider just going in for the work and see what transpires. sometimes its better to see if a snake will try and take an egg than to prevent him. specially if you don't know whether he's a snake or not.

disclaimer: i like snakes and only use this analogy as it is commonly understood, and don't mean to degrade snakes by comparing crappy people to them.

When my Liberty had to get the limbs replaced, I had 80 lbs limbs put on instead of 70. It didnt cost me a penny except for the drive back and forth to the shop.

Bowtech must hate me.
I patiently waited 1 full week from the day I was told they would be shipped (last Friday), before inquiring on my limb status.
Today rolls around, no limbs[>:].

So I called Bowtech and for some reason they have yet to ship my limbs.
He said they might be out of 70# patriot limbs?!?!?!
He is gonna call another person who will then call my pro shop (why I don't know).

At least I actually talked to someone this time instead of a machine.

Looks like I may be going on the February Black buck hunt with my Z-light.
At least I have a back-up.
