Default bare shaft tuning, bhead or ftip?

getting a little clang out of my shot which was non existant before a bunch of trips up a tree. a little rest adjustment has cleared it up in the past. damaged a fletching the other day so i thought i'd go ahead and bare shaft it through some paper. haven't shot field tips since before the season, and was wondering if i should just go ahead and start the process with broadheads on. any info on this would be appreciated.

You're never supposed to BST with broadheads. The flight gets so erratic that it's dangerous, not to mention irrelevent.

i actually took one of each and got very similar results, even out to 15 feet. the bhead results were slightly amplified. from now on i won't do it though, i hear what you're saying. my biggest issue with the whole deal is my chickens like to pick at my pink foam target (homemade) when they can get to it.
