In all my years of bowhunting I think I might have shot 2 deer with my quiver attached. Both were shot from the ground. I hunt mostly from tree stands these days and mine comes off as soon as my bow reaches the stand.

I think the key word here is detatchable quiver.
as soon as I get to where I need to be the quiver comes off.

I re-discovered Kwikees this year after trying to find something better.....apparently it doesn't exist.

The brackets are cheap as dirt allowing you to permanently affix one to any object you think you may be next to during a "venison event". The brackets are also lightweight which is a plus when mounted to the bow. Price-wise, I don't think they can be beat for what you get.

Detachables enable you to grab an arrow on the walk in to your stand, hoist the bow/arrow combo up in one shot, and shoot unencumbered once you're on stand. This is all assuming you have a treestand strapped to your back.

The only disadvantage I can see is the heavier bow with the quiver/bracket/bow combo if you happen to get a shot on the hike in or out.
