I have never shot around with it on so i always snap it off when i get into my stand. I wouldn't think it really matters just as long as your stay consistent.

Up until this year I shot with it on. But this year I got a new bow and did all the sighting and shooting with it off. When I put it on it was very "uncomfortable" shooting, but I could still shoot ok. So now I take it off in most circumstances, but, like above, I practice both ways.

MJ - where u at in Chen Co. I have a camp in E. Pharsalia/McDounough area

I practice 50/50 with it on or off. Though once I get to my stand I take it off.

I expect 90%of my shooting to be from a stand so I detach my quiver when I get there. When I set my bow up I set it up w/o quiver and like the weight and balance much better. For my particular setup I have found the point of impact difference negligible if I need to shoot with quiver on.

My quiver is only attached to the bow for the ride to my stand. For both practice and hunting, the quiver is off.

I bought an Alpine archery quiver when I bought my Bowtech two years ago and didn't like the bulk and weight it added so I never used it. This year I saw that they are making a belt hung version using the same quiver so I fabbed up the leather part that the belt slips thru and used a copper rivit to secure it to the leather. It spins out of the way so you can move and sit without conflict.
