doodle-drop?

I have one and like it. Had some issues with it hitting my cock vane, but I think I have that figured out. Really my only complaint with it was that it makes a little noise when drawing as the arrow slides on the rest. I took some fleece tape stuff and put on the "speed fins". Fixed the noise, but I think thats what made my vane hit. Anyways I think I have all the issues worked out and it shoots great now....

Bodoodle is a good rest if you are using it for3D tournaments but is too noisy for hunting IMHO
the Bodoodle company really needs to work on the launcher system on all of the Bodoodle models in order to quieten down the rest's, other than the launcher system yhey are a good rest

With respect to the launcher noise, if you use the teflon tape tape they sell for this purpose, the rest is completely silent on the draw.

I used the tape that they send with the rest, which is the same stuff you can buy and it did little if anything to silence my draw. Like I said the only thing that silence my draw was putting fleece tape on it in place of the tape they send.
What i dont really understand is why they dont just make the fins available coated or something to help the noise. It seems to me if they send silencing tape with the rest they know it makes noise so they are saying yeah it makes noise, but put this tape on it and it should fix it. which kinda sucks IMO

ok I can handle tinkering with it to make the draw a little silent. What would you say about the performance of it. Is it going to let me down or will I love it if I decide to buy one. Or will it just be another ok drop rest?

i've had a bunch of drop away rests, a bunch, and the doodle drop is the only one that has made me quit thinking about my rest. its so easy to tune, its easy to set up, and it shoots great. mine only makes noise on the draw if i have sand or dirt on my arrows and i don't use the tape. don't know about the other guys. i'm extremely happy with mine. i would reccomend this rest.
