Default Face Paint

I am going to try painting my face this fall for bowhunting. I just bought a $3 camo compac kit from Hunter Specialties. Does anyone know if the scent of this paint will spook deer? Will this paint rub off on my hunting jacket or does it stay on your face pretty well? Please let me know how this paint has worked for you in the past.
Thanks!

It has a strong scent - better suited for paintball or turkey hunting.

Have plenty of alcohol wipes to remove it from your face!

With the scent elimination regime I go through, I wouldn't bring that stuff into the woods.

Personally, I wear face make up that I get from costume stores. It works very well, and is easier IMO to remove and put on. It is oderless and has no shine to it at all.

I use the easy off camo face paint from cabelas. It's odorless, covers well, and is a breeze to get off with just plain water yet it doesn't run when you sweat. Here's a link....

I have used different brands of hunting face paint and haven't always been happy with how it performed. When I tried Starblend cake makeup it proved to be just the ticket.

It is makeup that performers use on stage, good stuff. Not cheap though.

That's what I use also. As far as not being cheap, I'd have to disagree, especially after figuring how many appliaction you can use with one cake as compared to camo face paint. I believe that the number of applications that they recommend for each cake is extrenely conservative.

I use a cheap black halloween paint. Doesn't smell and comes off very easily.
