I'm from Virginia and lived there for 27 years..and have travelled all through the South. I know exactly what you speak of!

I am leaving for my mule deer hunt the first week in Sept.
I am envious! Good Luck!

Stingers, fly great, and LIFETIME GUARANTEE. They don't spin, send them to Mike. You hit a rock, tree, bone, whatever, Mike at Magnus sends you a new head. As for re-sharpening, simple with the $7 Accusharp. I shoot the 125's, and they are amazing. The 100 should actually be easier to tune and shoot. To sum these heads up:
1. Fly great
2. Cut on contact
3. Easily re-sharpenable
4. SS blades
5. Razor sharp, right out of the package
6. Lifetime Guarantee
Is there anything else a broadhead needs to be?

Oh, and 5 shot gave all of the Stingers very high scores.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Jerry is sending me a pack of the Stingers to try out....that was the way I was leaning even before he offered.

Now if I can just re-sharpen the damn things.

I have shot slick tricks, rm ironheads the last two years both are great heads, accurate
and sharp. I will be shooting the nap tritons this year there a 1/6" wider then the
previously mentioned.

7. You get a free hat or a free T-Shirt if you send in a pic of an animal you killed with the Magnus Stingers.
