Default Draw weight question

I've got the limbs fully seated on my Liberty and when I measured the DW a couple weeks ago I came up with 67lbs. I later noticed that the ata & brace were off just a bit so I added one twist to the cable and two to the string to bring those measurements back to spec.

It now measures 68 lbs. So why am I only getting 68 when the "birth certificate" stated 71 and all of the measurements are to spec?

It's shooting well so I'm really not all that concerned about it, just more curious than anything.

Quick thought and a complete guess....could it have anything to do with adjusting the draw stop and therefore the % letoff?

Default RE: Draw weight question

It is very easy/common for two diff scales to give a few pounds different readings.
