Default how much is too much on brace height

I measured my brace height and it is off 1/4 of an inch, short. The bow has 200-400 shots through it. Is this normal with string strech or will it cause a problem. How much off is too much. I mentioned in an earlier post that my ATA is also a 1/4 inch to long, i figure they are related but not sure how

The string might have not stretched in enough, so the limbs havnt relaxed and the string hasnt settled, therefore your limbs are probably a little closer together causing your brace hieght to be longer. Just a guess though. If not, then somethin sounds wrong, but thats not THAT big of a difference. But like i said, thats just my guess.

When you find a bow company that lists their bow specs EXACTLY what they really are then I'll give you the winning lotery numbers.

Don't worry about it unless it's waaaaay off.

WV, that's actually pretty common for the actual brace height be shorter than what they advertise.

As the others have mentioned, unless it is way off then do not concern yourself with it. It was not too long ago that, for example, Hoyt had a different axle to axle length and brace height for each different sized cam that they offered for each respective draw length range. So, if you had a longer than average draw length then the axle to axle length and brace height were larger than advertised specs.
