Trap Door turned TT shakey
#1
My trap door decided to opt out for early retirement this past weekend. I was out at the 1st pre-league 3-D shoot and the launcher arm decided it didn't want to cock up anymore. I checked the sensitivity screw and it was fine. Talk about a waste of $90 bucks. I only got about a month out of it. I took it home and messed with it for an hour or so to no avail. Into the trash it went, and onto the shop I went.
I bought the TT shakey hunter.
Man have I been missing out on a great thing!!!!! It works flawlessly
It was a breeze to set up and fine tune. I was slightly hesitant to buy it from some peoples complaints of seting it up, but I had no problems. I have a couple hundred arrows through it since saturday and no problems to report.

Sorry to hear about your Trapdoor. Mine worked flawlessly for me for over a year...then I heard it crapped out for the gentleman that I gave it to. I hope you have a better experience with the TT. It is one of the more popular rests and for good reason.

I've never used a trap door but years ago i used a Barner ST which worked the same way and it also failed at a bad time and i gave it up. I started to give the trap door a try several years ago but saw some bad reviews on it so i changed my mind. I took a hard look at the drop zone and it's a great fall away but just a little to bulky for me so i went with the Trophy Taker and absolutely love it and have no regrets. Rest assured you bought a quality rest. The Trophy Taker is a very good product imo. I have one on both my bows and have never had a problem what so ever with either. Good luck.
