I sure do love my ACC's 349's as tough a shaft as there is around yes they are a little high but they are tough I have one arrow that has taken 12 deer and another with 10 and both are still good .

Well, I was in the same boat. I couldn't decide what I wanted to do. Since this new bow is going to be my soul hunting rig"aka MeatAxe" I decided to go with the Easton Axis. From all the reports I've been reading, this shaft will be incredible for hunting. Mine should be here tomorrow if the weather doesn't slow things down.
If you want to stick with a traditional carbon, I would have to say, Carbon Xpress CX's. For the money, straightness and weight are tough to beat there. I've got a bad taste in my mouth about Gold Tips the last couple years and unless they pull a rabbit out their hat, I wont go back to them for a long time.
