I got to see these in person today. And they are infact a little different material. It felt softer/more pliable. But how much better do they work than the old version? Who knows.

I think Black Frog might have been onto something. But I think it's more along the lines of.. "we already sold a set to every bowhunter that would buy them (they're at walmart for $7 for gods sake)... so we have to come out w/ something that's 'better' for them to replace them with". That's just my uneducated guess from a consumer standpoint.

Would I replace a set of old limbsavers w/ the new style? Prolly not... But I'd prolly put the new style on a new bow.. or bow that doesn't have them already.
