I shoot a one cam bow with an xring hydraulic stabilizer on it. I've heard that the force of the bow kicking back after being shot can cause the stabilizer to break leaving the bolt threaded in the bow. Should I be worried about this happening, and what can I replace it with if this is a problem?

With all the anti-vibration technology available to us today there is no need for any of us to be worried about problems such as what you mentioned.I would suggest the new improved Limb Savers as well as their new Modular-3 stabilizer for maximum performance on your solo-cam.Good luck and good shoot'n

Though Hydrolics work great on some bows, they are out of date. The real action is in rubber. Simms, doinker, and I like the Shrewd. I also really like the simms mushroom on the end of a stabilizer, though a lot of people put them elsewhere on the bow. I haven't seen any of those heavy hydro stabs break, but the bowshop guys would know better. What is bad about them is they add a lot of weight for what little stability they provide.
