Robinhood....Shoot EVERYTHING you can get your hands on, I mean everything. 99% of todays bows are going to make your old Bear Whitetail II feel like a garbage truck with wheels on it. (No offense I had one)
In other words you are going to be extremely impressed with the first bow of any manufacturer you try. Don't stop there.......you need to compare today's models VS. Today's models.......not today's VS your old bow.

GARBAGE TRUCK?????? If he cant get a new bow does this make his next animal a road kill???? Just think, White Tail II's were the top of the line. And put plenty of meat in the freezer. I think that he is better than any of us if he is still taking game with one.

Gobbler Tracks we are giving good points, give your points on the Hoyts, not just say Hoyt because you have no reason to say that!

Can't speak for the Bowtech. But I love my Mathews. If you shoot some Mathews shoot more than just the LX. I shot a few of them and liked the Legacy the best. I also have a Hoyt, but the Mathews is my favorite.

I shoot a Bowtech Extreme Solo, i like Bowtech, But i also am a Mathews Fan, just because i shoot bowtech doenst mean i have to disrespect other bow companies, i say read everybodies polls agian they give great advice, get out there test out the bows and the one that "talks" to you, you'll know what i mean, should be the bow you should research, and then bring it home...

Bowtech and Mathews are two popular and great names, but theres a lot of bows out there that are great, you just have to shoot em and test em and research em.
