Default best arrows for hunting, 3-D

I have been shooting GoldTip XTs but was wondering what would be the best arrow for hunting and 3-D shooting.

I use Arrow Dynamics for 3D and 2117 for hunting.
Basicly i go by the fact that i like a high FOC on my target arrows for nice groups and spot taking shots.
For hunting i am more fixed on kynetic energy.
Heavy weighted arrow make my bow silent and i a addicted on silent hunting.
Besides, hunting is something i do on close range shots.
For both kind of arrow i also like durability.
I like basic setups and good flying arrows.

Well, I' m sure I' ll get different comments on this one, but I had my best scores when I was shooting the same arrows I hunted with. Easton XX78 2514' s. They flew at 230 fps out of the 70 lb Browning I shot (with fingers). So I had to be better at range estimation than most. But those fat shafts cut lines like crazy and gave me 10' s and 12' s that would have been 8' s and 10' s with skinny shafts.

Good luck and have fun.

Yep, they really ARE that good

But that is a very high price for standard A/C/Cs, fletched and cut. If you " roll your own" you can get bare shafts and components for about $30 to $45 less.

They run about $130 @ the shop IIRC for fletched arrows w/ components ( I build all my own arrows, so I usually only know raw shaft prices off the top of my head)
