I too want to know how the draw lengths are running on the ' 04 models.

As an owner of 5 Bowtechs over the last 2 years, I never bought into this designed " cam lean" on my ' 03 bows. Has this been designed out of the ' 04 models?

Thanks.

Actually the 04' s are SEVERAL fps faster than the 03' s, if you set them on the same draw and poundage,[8D] the 04' s run EXACT on draw lengths.

Rangeball if you tell me what # and draw length you have I will shoot a 500 grain arrow and report the speed.[] Also which bows would you like me to test at this set up.

Usually we rate the bows at the very top speed we get. The 04' s are rated 2 - 3 fps off the very top speed for the top end of the range we give. EX: a speed rating of 328 - 336 actually is shooting 339, but you can' t get every bow to shoot the top, so we backed off the rating just enough to try and ensure all bows hit the high side of our ratings.

I have a few 04 Duals that are 12 - 14 fps faster than 03' s set up exactly the same, appless to apples.

My pick for 04' is the Patriot VFT and the Black Knight, my BK has a 6" brace.

I love these faces.[>:]

Pardon me, but LOL. What other bow company Engineer/VP would come to an internet forum and offer to do this for a prospective customer? ![] Most excellent

I love these faces.
My personal fave is this: [:-]

Kevin, Wow... I almost pm' d you to ask, but I figured you were way to busy and didn' t want to put you on the spot, but since you offered

28 3/4" draw, 70#, 500 grain arrow- Liberty Freedom, Patriot Dually, Pro40 Dually. If you could also test the Liberty at 80#s, that' d be great!

Thanks a ton!

I like this one

I think I may have to write a letter to Santa.

The Liberty and Justice are very interesting.

Harley,

The early 2003' s were not shipped with manuals (printing problems) , but were shipped to dealers afterwards when they became available. A note was put in each bow box explaining the situation. Your dealer should have received your manuals in the spring.

The 2003 manual has been available for free download on the BowTech website for several months too. Check out www.bowtecharchery.com

Hope that helps.

Kevin,
First of all, thanks for taking the time to visit this site and answer our questions. Very impressive.
You say your BK has a brace height of 6 inches, did you set it that way yourself or do they come with a slightly higher brace than the specs? Can you compare the shootability/ forgiveness of the 04 BK 2 to the 02 BK 2 that I am currently shooting. Thank you.
